Do you thirst for something more out of life? When you lay your head on your pillow each night do you feel fulfilled in life? CS Lewis once said, "Creatures are not born with a desire unless satisfaction for that desire exists. If you find yourself with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, then maybe you were not made for this world." Are you confident that you were created to feel the way you feel about life? Jesus taught that he was a 'type of living water' that if you drink from his fountain you would never thirst again. Over the next ten weeks in our small groups and in our worship gatherings we will discuss this longing, emptiness, or thirst that we all have felt. We will search out how to have this emptiness filled. |
